The current guide will teach you how to display the tasks worked during the weekend on the "My resource bookings" schedule.
If the weekend is excluded, then the "My resource bookings" section would look like this (Saturday and Sunday are blank).
And the Resources board looks like the below accordingly (the weekends are grey).
So, to make the weekends appear, then please go to Administration (on top) - Settings - Issue tracking. And here on Non-working days disable Saturday and Sunday and save the changes.
And then the weekends will be included in your Resources plugin. Please check the below pictures.
