Works where you work
An Agent button sits right in the issue comment and description editors. No Redis, no worker, no cron to set up
Respects permissions
The agent works from within Redmine and sees only what each user is allowed to see
Your AI provider
Connect the model you prefer with your own API key and switch models at any time
Ready for MCP
A built-in MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Gemini CLI work with your Redmine issues
Features
Answers
Click the Agent button in the comment or description editor, jot down the key points, and get a ready reply based on the issue history. Review it, insert it into the editor and send. With the Helpdesk plugin the agent also sees the ticket and its email thread

Summary
Get a short summary of an issue, wiki page, forum topic or version in one click. A refresh takes only the new activity into account, so summaries stay fast and cheap. Add project or personal instructions to set the tone and the focus for each kind of summary

Statistics
Keep track of how your team uses AI: requests, tokens, run time and failures by day, week or month. Break the numbers down by context, user, project and model

MCP server
Turn on the built-in MCP server and connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Gemini CLI to Redmine over OAuth or with an API key. Your AI client works with issues and attachments within the permissions of the connected user. Other RedmineUP plugins, such as Helpdesk, Checklists and Tags, extend the available tools
$ ask "Which tickets are waiting for a reply?" → Calling MCP tool list_helpdesk_tickets… → Calling MCP tool get_helpdesk_ticket… Three tickets are waiting for a reply. Oldest: #100966 Feature request: dark mode. The customer asks for an ETA, so I drafted a reply: "Dark mode ships in 2.1."
