Subject: Feature Request – Automatic Creation of Contacts from Existing Project Members

Hello,

We would like to propose a new feature for the Helpdesk plugin.

When the Helpdesk and Contacts plugins are enabled on an existing project, the Contacts section is initially empty, even if the project already contains active members who interact with the support team.

Currently, contacts must be created manually one by one, which can be time-consuming for projects with many users.

Requested Feature

Provide an option to automatically create Contacts for all existing project members when the Helpdesk plugin is activated on a project.

Possible implementations could be:

A button such as "Create Contacts from Project Members" available in the project settings.
An optional action displayed during Helpdesk activation.
A background process that creates contacts for all users who are project members and do not already have a corresponding contact.
Expected Benefits
Faster Helpdesk onboarding for existing projects.
Elimination of manual contact creation activities.
Reduced risk of missing contacts.
Better alignment between project members and Helpdesk contacts.

This feature would be particularly useful when enabling Helpdesk on projects that have been active for a long time and already contain a large number of users.
