If you have the Tags plugin installed, you can also add tags to your new or old messages(click Edit to make changes to a message, including adding to or changing its tags).
When you use tags, the sidebar will show tag names and the number of articles for each tag.
By clicking on the tag's name, you will go to the list of tagged messages (i.e. filtered messages list).
