What is the difference between "Single-server" and "Multi-server" license?

The number of servers is simply a number of "production server" installations.

The "Single-server" license (previously:"Single-site license") allows for only one "live" installation.

The "Multi-Server" license (previously:"Multi-site license") license allows for an unlimited number of installations within one company. For every additional company, you have to purchase a separate license despite the number of servers you're allowed to use with your current license.

For both license types you can have many "test" installations for evaluating and testing purposes. For instance, your developers can install the plugin onto their local machines without any limits.

What is plugin license and what does it include?

Once the plugin is purchased you can use it for a lifetime. All plugins includes a license, which allows you to download updates of the plugin and receive technical support. Each license is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Are the licenses valid for a lifetime?

No. Each license is valid for one year from the date of your purchase. You will receive an email notification before the end of the period to remind you about the renewal.

How can I install plugins?

You will find installation and setup documentation in the Help & Support section. If you encouter any difficulties or have questions, contact our support for assistance. We also provide paid services of system and plugin installation and configuration.

What happens when my license expires?

The product will continue to operate for a lifetime, also after the license expires. You can continue using the product for as long as needed, but you will no longer receive support and be able to download updates for the product.

How can I download updates?

To download updates, go to email with purchase confirmation, and click on the link that leads you to License Manager under your profile. You can request to receive an email reminder with the link to the License Manager. Use the email given during the purchase of the plugin.

How can I pay?

We accept cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards as well as more than 30 other payment methods, including PayPal. You can also pay by bank-trasfer. If your order process requires generating pro-forma bill and paying by wire-transfer or payment with few installations it is also possible. With any purchase related questions, contact Sales.

Can you assist us in a data migration?

We understand that your data is the critical element to get started. We will migrate your Data from On-premises Redmine or other platform for free. Before the final switchover, you will discuss available migration options.To ensure minimal downtime, we try to schedule it for a time when your team doesn't use the current tool. Usually, the migration takes a few hours and can be finished the same business day. We can sign NDA before discussing any details.

Where do you store my data?

RedmineUP use Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure that keeps your data safe and provides the smooth performance of our Redmine based platform. Another benefit is automatic scaling of system performance. By default, we host all accounts on servers located in Ireland, Europe. Date center provides all security certificates such as ISO/IEC 27001:2013. It is a security management standard that specifies security management best practices and comprehensive security controls..

What if the offered plans do not suit us. Can I purchase an individual plan?

We will be happy to offer you a custom plan tailored for your needs. Please contact us, and let us know how many users will use the tool, number of projects you estimate to run, and how much disk space you would need. We will prepare a dedicated plan just for you.

How can you protect our data? Any security documentation?

We are committed to ensuring the unfaltering safety and security of your company’s data and to providing you with the information you need to understand and evaluate our security practices and policies for yourself.

Can you provide an access to the backups of the SQL Redmine Database?

You can add a special feature: Access to dowload backup. Once a week our system creates and save a backup file of your Redmine data base. You can download it any time you want with the specific link.

Can I add a third-party plugin?

Yes, we can add external plugins to your account. This option is availible for Enterprise clients. By default on your RedmineUP Cloud account, we provide only our plugins in full PRO versions.
