The following guide will teach you how to install a plugin on Docker Container Redmine 7.x.x stable version on Windows operating system. For our example we will use our Agile plugin.
Copy to Redmine plugins Windows directory
Firstly, you need to download the plugin. Normally it goes in the Downloads folder.
Then you have to unzip the folder by simply right-click on it and then click "extract".
Now copy the unzipped folder to your Windows directory Redmine plugins folder. Normally it is located in C:\docker\redmine\plugins. It should be named more or less like this - "redmine_agile" (for our Agile plugin example).
Copy to Docker inner Redmine plugins directory
Afterward, please open your PowerShell and navigate to C:\docker\redmine\plugins. As being into this directory, just execute the below command:
docker cp .\[name_of_the_plugin\ [name_of_your_docker_redmine_container]:usr/src/redmine/plugins
Where:
- name_of_the_plugin is your plugin name
- name_of_your_docker_redmine_container is your Docker Redmine container name
In our example of the Agile plugin the command will look like this:
docker cp .\redmine_agile\ redmine_app:usr/src/redmine/plugins
The redmine_app name of the container could be checked via the command:
docker ps
And also can be checked in the docker-compose.yml file located in the C:\docker\redmine\ directory.
